Holistic Science Publications
is a general scientific publication archive platform administered by the Holistic
Science Association situated in Finland. Association also provides for peer-review training and re-training on how to conduct constructive peer review. Also our referee guidelines are openly accessible here. In all cases our peer review uses 6 pages long cart and mostly 1-6 pages long review part, depending on the topic. More on topic of constructive peer review here. We publish peer-reviewed articles in any article format, essays, and
books and offer scientifically broad referee possibilities for writers from
different areas of science. Our main goal is to review and publish
interdisciplinary publications including field related articles. Our publishing languages are English and
Finnish.
Our archives include Holistic Archive edited by head editor Lisa
Gohlke and Intellectual History archive edited by head editor Jouko Hartikainen. Both archives are peer reviewed hybrid publishing journals. Archives publish one issue per year consisting of early singular articles. These publications are hybrids, enabling faster publishing after peer review, and each archive's yearly issue is closed at the end of the year.

AI Tools Statement
We do not publish any AI-generated content. If you use AI tools for templates, layouts, images, or logos that do not affect the scholarly content of the work, for language editing, or for translation, you do not need to inform the editors separately. However, the generation of any substantive content is prohibited, as researchers must be able to carry out their own work. AI tools may also be used for scholarly ideation, but it must be acknowledged that many AI programmes may not reliably identify the best possible sources and may generate non-existent material. For this reason, we ask authors to use AI tools with discretion and to disclose to the editors how such tools have been used in their publication.
It should also be noted that language translation and proofreading can be distinguished from AI-generated text. Never use AI-generated text in any scholarly work, as it is often inaccurate, not factually reliable, not verifiable, and lacks the rigorously reasoned argumentative chain expected from researchers.
Ethical Statement
It is generally advisable to include ethical statements in scholarly writing where relevant. In a draft article or book, please indicate, where necessary, ethical approval, the source of funding, and informed consent (for example, in connection with surveys or human or animal experiments). Conflicts of interest should also be declared where appropriate.
For our publications, it is essential that the publication process itself is ethical and that the correct individuals receive recognition for their work. We do not accept practices such as the sale of authorship slots, plagiarism, failure to cite others' work, or any other form of dishonesty in scholarly publishing. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) must also be taken seriously when handling other people's data. Research publications should aim to anonymise all individuals within the research dataset.
Data Preservation and Copyright Statement
We aim to preserve all published books and journal issues as effectively as possible by registering them with the Finnish National Library system. This ensures that published research remains available beyond this website.
We also provide citation information with each publication, enabling articles and books to be properly referenced and disseminated. Authors are free to share their published works on platforms such as Academia.edu, ResearchGate, or similar general repositories for academic work. Authors retain full rights to their own works after publication.
Otherwise, we apply the CC BY 4.0 Creative Commons licence, which requires the use of the provided citation details in order to identify the correct source and author.
